"The stand we have been presenting for four events now is one that is extremely popular and stands out completely from its surroundings."
Fabien, President of Groupe Abilis
A clear structure organised around several themes
For Abilis, the stand was designed around four sections, each dedicated to a specific theme: braiding and man support, maintenance, accessorising and sovereign activities, such as the fire brigade, gendarmerie or municipal police. This layout allows visitors to immediately understand our areas of expertise and move around the stand with ease.
Specifications respected and perfectly interpreted
From the outset, Smiths Detection shared clear specifications, with specific expectations in terms of usage and circulation: we wanted three distinct areas for each of our markets, a central reception area and a semi-enclosed, more cosy space for confidential discussions. These requirements were understood, integrated and accurately translated through constant dialogue throughout the project.
A welcoming and distinctive environment
For the Smiths Detection stand, the choice of materials and shapes greatly contributed to the stand’s identity. Wood, greenery and the curved lines of the furniture create a warm and welcoming environment.
For Abilis, the warm feel comes from the choice of dark colours, enhanced with gold accents, as well as warm fabrics and a leather Chesterfield sofa to create a cosy welcome.
This approach deliberately contrasts with the very minimalist stands and creates a welcoming space that is conducive to conversation.

A stand designed to be reused over time
Reusing the stand was an integral part of the project as it was designed for Abilis. The aim was to design a stand that would last and adapt to several events. Today, this stand is presented at four different trade shows and continues to fulfil its role, both functionally and aesthetically.
A collaboration based on listening and expertise
Listening to the client and designing a stand that reflects their image is essential. The teams at R2 Stand understood our expectations, respected Abilis’ DNA and Smiths Detection’s specifications, and came up with creative, ergonomic and distinctive designs.
The quality of the collaboration is evident both in the final result and in the quality of the relationships throughout the various projects.
