On the day of the installation, I arrive at the trade show and everything is already ready. That peace of mind is worth its weight in gold.
When everything starts at the right time
Sometimes, the stars align. I received an email from a business manager just as I was having serious doubts about our stand. I had several trade shows to prepare for and was looking for a reliable solution. Her response was immediate, which immediately put me at ease.
Even though the deadline was a bit tight, everything fell into place naturally. We started working together in May for a first trade show that opened in October, then other events followed until Solutrans in November. Their responsiveness was really a key factor.
We also had excellent feedback from colleagues who were already working with R2 Stand. We liked the proposal, it was within our budget, and we felt a real consistency in values. We said yes, let’s go for it.
What I expect from an exhibition design agency
For me, creativity is essential. I need a team capable of designing a stand that is both original and completely faithful to our charter and values. And since this isn’t my job, it’s important to be guided on graphic proposals and good ideas.
Responsiveness is also crucial. There’s always something that needs adjusting. Sometimes I need an extra fridge or larger equipment, and I’ve always received quick responses.
Finally, reliability is an essential criterion. Arriving at a trade show on the day of set-up and finding that everything is already ready is a real luxury. All I have to do is set up my equipment and focus on the next day. That peace of mind is priceless.
Sustainability at the heart of our collaboration
The question of materials is crucial for us. We wanted natural materials, particularly wood-based, but above all a stand designed to be reused. As we attend several trade shows a year, sometimes with different configurations, it was essential that the furniture could be reused.
The reception area, the back of the bar, the storage units, but also a large arch equipped with a screen, and even our sample display, are all reused from one trade show to the next. Even our signs can easily be moved from one event to the next thanks to their similar dimensions.
Anything that cannot be reused is given a second life. For example, some walls become flooring for another exhibitor’s next stand. This approach allows us to minimise our environmental footprint. There is always room for improvement, of course, but we are moving step by step in the right direction.
R2 stand also has a number of certifications, beyond just a stamp. What matters are their internal values. We share this approach, as we are also EcoVadis certified. It’s nice to work with partners whose commitment is similar to ours.

A final result that exceeded my expectations
The final result of the stand exceeded my expectations. When I realised that the large suspension would measure six metres in diameter, I truly understood the scale of the project. And in reality, the wow factor was definitely there.
Visitors have given us lots of compliments, particularly on the rounded shapes and the very natural look of the stand. I don’t know if there’s a touch of femininity in all this, in a world like transport, but I really like it.
Seamless and personal collaboration
Yes, I would recommend R2 Stand without hesitation. Everything went very well from start to finish, both in terms of designing the solution and on the ground. I would particularly like to mention Sandrine, who is always attentive and listens to my requests, even the most outlandish ones.
She is always there to welcome me to the stand and give me the keys. All I have to do is enjoy myself. This simplicity, kindness and professionalism really make you want to continue.
